Phlox subulata-Emerald Blue Creeping Blue Phlox

Emerald Blue Creeping Phlox (Phlox subulata ‘Emerald Blue’) is a dense herbaceous perennial ground cover that averages 6”-8” high and spreads 12”-24”. It grows into a solid green carpet that has beautiful blue flowers from March to May.

Phlox is a Hardy Ground Cover

It withstands the winter very well; in fact, in Charlotte and surrounding area it stays green all year. It is frequently used as low border plants, a ground cover, and around large rocks and boulders. It will survive under adverse conditions and can be used to help stabilize soil. Phlox will also attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

  • Candy Stripe Phlox (Phlox musgoso Candy Stripe)
